Whatever your choice of an ideal holiday, the Caribbean is sure to offer!

As mentioned, below is just a small sample of the splendor on offer in the Caribbean. This Caribbean Destination Guide page gives just a small insight into a few of the unique islands that make up the Caribbean. Antigua and Barbuda

Everything about Antigua and Barbuda is captivating - the culture, religion, traditions, song and dance, music and dress, humour and its inspiring history. The hammocks on this tropical paradise sway to the warm lilting breeze. The energetic beat of a practised hand plays an original Benna. Here in this island, you will truly find a part of yourself that simply loves to wander! Antigua and Barbuda offer a host of outdoor activities - from sailing to deep sea diving and more. Explore these beautiful islands and be absolutely charmed. There are 365 beaches in Antigua! All that you're left with now is deciding which beach to go to. Remember to ask for specific directions before you take off. The locals are very helpful and are happy to speak with visitors.

Cuba

Cuba is the largest and one of the least commercialised islands of the Caribbean. One of the world's last communist countries, its relative political isolation has prevented tourists from overrunning the island. Cuba is home to more than 300 natural beaches of crystal clear water and fine white sands.

Nevis

Nevis, discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, is a hidden treasure in the Caribbean. The lush green trees and hills give it a captivating view that one wants to cherish forever. "The Queen of the Caribees", as it is also known, has a beauty that is untamed and unspoilt. Whilst here in Nevis, one can explore the flora and fauna, and see the green vervet monkeys chatter and scamper across the street. It is also possible to explore the great ruins that tells Nevis' history at different ends of the island.

St. Kitts

St. Kitts, more so than any other island in the Caribbean, seems to represent the real island lifestyle. With it's unspoiled beaches, jungle trekking and colonial era plantations, St. Kitts offers what most of its competitors cannot. Add to this the balmy climate, fresh seafood and tropical fruits, and, on top of it all, the friendliness of the Kittitians, and you have an ideal holiday destination. St. Kitts has been able to uphold and maintain its culture, its heritage and its spirituality. These are just some of the treasures that St. Kitts has to offer. Whether being guided around the colonial-style capital of Basseterre, trekking through the jungle or hiking up the dormant volcano, there is bound to be a tour that takes your interest.

Montserrat

Montserrat offers a very rare opportunity to witness an active volcano from a safe distance. After laying dormant for over half a century, the Soufrière Hills Volcano rumbled to life in 1995 and has been active ever since. Activity increased in 1997, with huge eruptions of lava, rocks and ash changing the face of Montserrat forever. Entire villages were engulfed by pyroclastic flows, and the southern half of the island was evacuated. Nowadays, however, Montserrat's tourist industry is undergoing a revival, with the volcano representing one of the island's most unique draws. Visitors can learn about its geological origins and history as well as view the volcano from safe locations around the island.

St. Vincent & the Grenadines

Although St. Vincent & the Grenadines are one of the lesser known and visited groups of Caribbean islands, there are a number of interesting things to keep you interested should you be able to tear yourself away from the idyllic beaches and crystal-clear waters, with the added benefit of far fewer tourists than some of the more developed islands. St. Vincent & the Grenadines offer colonial era churches, cathedrals and forts, as well as bustling markets, botanical gardens and stunning beaches!
